Not only is this an excellent PDF to text app, it is also a great file converter that converts videos, audio, and images into almost any format, including 3GP, 3G2, MP4, AVI, WAV, AAC, MMF, MPEG-2, and lots more. Nonetheless, the following apps are the best performing apps when it comes to PDF-to-Kindle file converter apps: 1. A relatively expensive solution is to hire data conversion experts who use their expertise to manually prosecute the conversion. These drawbacks are deterring to people who wish to automate the direct conversion of PDF files to other Kindle formats.
They may churn out files that are full of word-warps and convoluted paragraphs.
But most PDF-to-other-Kindle-format converter apps distort the layout of converted files. However, since the mobi format comes closest to being the most optimized format for end users, PDF-to-mobi converter apps can be of great import. But there's hardly any user who can create well-formatted AZW or AZW3 files, and anyone who does so will only get to use them in a very limited way, as AZW or AZW3 files cannot be uploaded and published at the KDP. These are the only formats for all books listed on the Amazon store. The final, encrypted format is the AZW and AZW3. However, these mobi file formats are not the final file formats for end users. There are three main versions of mobi Kindle files: the "KF7" mobi, which is suited to older Kindle devices the "KF8" mobi, suited to modern models like the Fire and Fire HDX, and the basic mobi, which is an intermediary of the KF7 and KF8. The Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) platform converts any file uploaded by users in any of the Kindle formats into a mobi file before storing it on Amazon's servers. Why it's Imperative for Kindle Owners to Have Apps that Convert PDF to Other Kindle Formats This disparity can convolute the display of a PDF file on the device screen. Most PDF files come in a fixed width which is larger than the screen size of Kindle devices.
But among these, PDF is one of the least apt. Kindle does support a wide range of file formats.
Short version: If you send a third-party mobi book to your kindle, it will sync between Kindle apps, but only if they are on a Kindle, iOS or Android device the cloud reader and PC applications (maybe Mac, too?) will not have the book or its associated notes/highlights.When it comes to choosing the most suitable file format for Kindle, one can easily get lost at sea. I then went to my iPad (without sending the book there explicitly) and it was there with my highlights again.
I picked my iPhone, and sure enough the book appeared there with my highlights (yay!). This brought up a window with a drop-down list of all my devices - except my Kindle for PC or the Amazon Cloud Reader were greyed out. I then clicked on the action button next to my book and clicked the Deliver to: Others link. The book did not appear under books, but DID appear under Docs. I called Amazon support and here's what we learned: we went to Manage Your Content and Devices and clicked on YOur Content. I started to worry at this point, thinking that I only ever have access to my highlights on the Kindle device itself. I also checked my history of highlights at and they were not there either. However, I discovered that the book did not appear on my Kindle for PC. I made many highlights (as I often do), and I wanted to see those highlights on my PC to prepare some teaching notes. It was delivered to my device right away, and I happily read it. I used the Send to Kindle application on my PC to send it to my Kindle device (strangely, by Kindle for PC was not on the list of options - more on this later).
I purchased an ebook in Mobi format from a seller other than Amazon.
